York Photo Walks

02nd August 2017
Enjoy a guided walk with local landscape photographer, Mat Robinson, author of numerous guides and with years of experience in photographic tuition. We will visit a number of postcard views along with plenty of hidden vistas slightly off the beaten track.

This photo-walk is accessible to all - bring your whole family; children, pets and friends are all welcome and discounted. If your children don't have cameras themselves, then why not pop in to Boots beforehand and get a cheap disposable one? It's never too late to get them engaged in seeing and understanding the beauty of the natural world and historic scenery.

We will visit all of the main attractions, including York Minster, a number of views from the walls, Lendal Bridge, Skeldergate Bridge, the Art Gallery, the Museum Gardens, the Shambles, Clifford's Tower and many more.

Whilst this is primarily a walking tour, photographic and compositional input will always be available as I'm an experienced tutor with groups of all sizes. But don't be put off if you just want to join us with your phone and have no interest in photographic equipment at all. The views will be just as beautiful whether you own an expensive camera or not...

Places will be limited to 12 people per walk - so booking in advance is advised - although you're more than welcome to pay in cash at the start of the walk. See below for further information on prices and making your booking.

The prices for the walks are as follows:
- £10 per adult
- £5 for under 16s
- Family bookings (2 adults and 2 children) are £25
- Group bookings (4+ people) are £10 for the first person and £6 for each additional person (You can pay for this by selecting one full priced entry along with any number of additional +£6 entries.
